I sold my vehicle. Will this affect my compensation?

Potentially, yes. The Defendants may argue that the Claimants have no loss if they have disposed of their vehicle. While this has not yet been finally decided by the Court, selling your vehicle does not necessarily mean you are unable to bring a claim. We are likely to be more informed about such scenarios after the outcome of the Quantum Trial that is listed in October 2026.

Eligibility is likely to depend on factors such as whether you owned or leased the vehicle during
the relevant period and whether your claim has been properly registered. These issues may be
considered in future Court hearings and/or as part of any settlement discussions.
