My brand wasn’t a “lead defendant”—does that reduce my chances?

No. Currently the Court cases in respect of vehicles manufactured by Vauxhall, Volvo, Jaguar Landrover, VW, Audi, Porsche, SEAT, Škoda and BMW have been paused (“stayed”) by the Court pending the judgment. The judgment does not directly affect claims by those other manufacturers, although the Claimants allege that those vehicles also contain similar defeat devices to those installed by the Lead Defendants.

Over the coming weeks and months, we will consider further the implications for the claims of
all our clients.
